Nova Mentis Clinic welcomes referrals for veterans, Defence personnel and people experiencing work-related mental health conditions. Services and funding arrangements depend on the individual clinician, referral and relevant authorisation.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
Our participating psychiatrists welcome eligible DVA referrals for psychiatric assessment and ongoing treatment.

WorkCover Queensland
We provide psychiatric and psychological assessment and treatment for appropriate work-related mental health presentations.
Services may include treatment for workplace-related trauma, depression and anxiety, medication management, and clinical reports where appropriate. Nicole Prendergast accepts appropriate WorkCover Queensland referrals for psychological treatment and assessment.
Please provide your referral, claim details and any relevant funding approval. These will be reviewed before appointments are arranged.
Australian Defence Force (ADF)
Our participating psychiatrists welcome ADF referrals for psychiatric assessment and management.
Appointments are arranged in accordance with the applicable Defence healthcare referral and authorisation requirements. Please contact our team for assistance with the booking process.
